Band News and Information
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Regional Auditions and Solo/Ensemble Festival held January 28th at Maryvale HS! We are very proud of each of you who went through the audition process and so excited to have had over 70 students participate in the Solo/Ensemble Festival. Thank you all for your hard work, determination, and being such great young adults!

This will be a send-off performance prior to the AMEA conference along with the Band from Peking University High School, China. In 2010, when DWS traveled to China, a shared concert was held at their school. Dobson is now pleased to reciprocate as the host site for this reunion concert.
Rhodes and Dobson were selected to perform at the 2012 Arizona Music Educators Association Conference based on submitted performance recordings.
AMEA Conference - Honors Concert
This is a free concert and all are welcome! Parents are encouraged to attend!

As a fundraising reminder, we always have our Fry's Gift Cards available for purchase. Fry's donates 5% of our purchases back to DBPA to support our Band Programs.
Also, be sure to sign up for the "Cool Cash" program where just using your Frys card can help make the band up to $2000 this year. Check out the fundraising page!
