2008-2009 Dobson Performance Highlights

 

ABODA Area Concert Festival The Dobson Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble received two "Superior with Distinction" ratings at the ABODA Area Concert Festival hosted by Desert Mountain High School on March 5th.

NAU Jazz Festival The Dobson Jazz Big Band received a "Superior" ratings from the panel of judges at the NAU Jazz Festival February 27-28 in Flagstaff. More info on the Jazz Festival can be found here

Please see this PDF file for what to expect from the Charms Music site as well as instructions on how to access the site => CharmsMusic   Once you have read the instructions you can also access Charms from this link => www.charmsmusic.com Please add the charms site to your FAVORITES!   Charms will be the main source for detailed band information going forward. You will hear more about Charms at the orientation on August 2nd.   The DOBSONMUSIC.COM site (this site) will contain information about the Dobson Music Programs in general and ways you can help support the music programs. There will also be information on our sponsors and our associated parent orgainizations.

 

As a fundraising reminder, we always have our Fry's Gift Cards available for purchase. These Fry's Gift Cards are a great way to support the Dobson Band Parent Association as they are used to purchase groceries, pharmacy items or other gift cards you would normally purchase. The benefit to our organization is Fry's donates back to DBPA 5% of our purchases as way to support our Dobson Band Programs.

For those utilizing the gifts cards, we appreciate your continued support by "reloading" each time you purchase items at Fry's. If you have not joined this ongoing DBPA fundraiser, please see us for more information.
